This family in Lambeth had just had their home completely renovated, and the only detail left was an underutilised side return. We transformed it into a bespoke lean-to mud room: a galvanised steel enclosure fabricated to the exact geometry of their side entry, designed around the way their family actually moves through the world. The result is invisible from the street, and indispensable from within.
