A Home That Had Everything, Except a Safe Place for Their Cargo Bike

Your morning runs on it. The school run, the weekly shop, the rhythm of the week. When it gets stolen and there's nowhere secure to put a replacement, the problem isn't the bike. It's the house. This property in North London, just off Alexandra Palace, had a driveway in constant use, narrow steps down to the lower ground floor, and a front elevation worth protecting. There was no obvious answer. We designed a tapered store built precisely around every constraint, finished in olive grey with timber cladding and dense planting. It sits next to the driveway as an elegant object that always belonged.
