PROBLEM

A London homeowner residing in a Georgian terrace faced challenges with outdoor storage:

• No secure space for a cargo bike, a road bike and two 240l bins.
• Bins cluttering the front garden, detracting from the property's aesthetic.

SOLUTION

Atlanticbike designed and installed a bespoke storage unit that:

• Accommodates a long-tail cargo bike (a Tern GSD) with child seats and a canopy attached.
• Provides additional space for a standard road bike.
• Features a dedicated compartment for storing household bins neatly.
• Features a low-maintenance sedum green roof, enhancing biodiversity and kerb appeal.
• Integrates seamlessly with the property's Georgian architecture.​

APPROACH

• Custom Design: Tailored the storage unit to fit the specific dimensions and aesthetic requirements of the Georgian terrace.
• Material Selection: Utilised a robust steel enclosure for durability, clad in timber to complement the historical facade.
• Green Roof Installation: Implemented a sedum green roof to introduce greenery, support local biodiversity, and provide a visually pleasing element.
• Security Features: Equipped the unit with AtlanticBike's signature Phantom locking system to ensure the safety of stored bicycles.
