A Driveway Kept Clear, With Space Designed Around the Family's Bikes and Everything Else on Wheels

Your side passage is stepped and too narrow for anything on wheels, so every bike, and everything else your family relies on to get about, ended up living in the hallway or blocking the driveway. We built a considered structure along the boundary instead, planted on top so the greenery lost at ground level comes back above it. It holds the whole family's bikes with room to spare, and for the first time in a while, the driveway is just a driveway, and the hallway is just a hallway.
