Rethinking the London Front Garden Wall for Storage and Security
After more than a decade, our client finally set out to turn their house into a considered, long-term home. As part of the renovation, they wanted to rethink the front garden and boundary wall, clearing clutter, improving storage, and creating a calmer, more welcoming entrance.
The existing low brick wall provided a degree of privacy, but very little else. Over time, bikes, bins and a mobility scooter had come to dominate the space, leaving the garden feeling constrained. The issue was not a lack of space, but a boundary that wasn’t working hard enough. By rethinking the front garden boundary wall, we were able to make far better use of this edge.
We replaced the wall with integrated boundary storage, giving everything a proper place while freeing the garden once again. The result is a front garden that feels open, ordered and easy to use, combining discreet storage, improved security, and a more composed, elegant frontage.
