- Keeping the structure’s visual and physical footprint as small as possible.

After presenting a few design options on our initial site visit, the client clarified that keeping the light flowing into their lower-ground-level window was non-negotiable—they absolutely loved that space's bright, open feel. This shaped the final design, from the shed’s placement to the materials we used.

The rich dark olive powder coated metal structure sits elegantly within the space, while the bright hardwood cladding reflects light back into the lower-ground room—a lovely bonus they weren’t expecting.
The planted roof is an elegant touch, placing the shed as a garden object. With careful landscaping, we made sure the mature tree’s roots stayed untouched, keeping the garden as lush and vibrant as ever.
